Running a Weekly Discovery Session
A step-by-step workflow for running productive weekly discovery sessions with your team.

The weekly loop
The most effective teams using Curyloop follow a simple weekly rhythm:
- Monday: Create a new session for the week
- Mon–Fri: Team members save interesting links throughout the week
- Friday: Review and discuss the best finds together
- End of week: Archive the session and start fresh
Step 1: Create the session
At the start of each week, create a new session in your group. Name it something like "Week 10 - March 2026" or by theme: "AI Tools Research".
Pro tip: Enable the AI Agent to automatically discover and add relevant content to your sessions.
Step 2: Collect links throughout the week
Encourage your team to save links as they find them:
- Use the browser extension for instant saving while browsing
- Use the Add Item form on the session page for manual additions
- Use MCP integrations in Claude Code or Cursor to save while coding
Set priorities to help the team focus during review:
- High: Must discuss
- Medium: Worth a look
- Low: For reference
Step 3: Friday review
During your weekly meeting:
- Sort by priority to tackle the most important items first
- Click the checkmark to mark items as discussed
- Use AI Summary to quickly understand articles no one has read yet
- Add tags to categorize findings for future reference
Step 4: Archive and repeat
Once the session is reviewed, change its status to Archived. This keeps your active view clean while preserving everything for future search.
Tips for success
- Keep sessions focused - one per week per group works best
- Assign a "curator of the week" to keep the session organized
- Use tags consistently across sessions for better searchability
- Export session summaries to share with stakeholders
