Installing Curyloop as a Progressive Web App

What Is a PWA?

A Progressive Web App (PWA) lets you use Curyloop like a native app - with its own window, home screen icon, and faster load times - without downloading anything from an app store. It works on desktop and mobile, across all major platforms.

Why Install the PWA?

  • Instant access - launch Curyloop from your home screen or dock
  • Dedicated window - no browser tabs, no distractions
  • Faster performance - cached assets load instantly
  • Works offline - browse your saved content even without internet
  • Push notifications - stay updated when your team shares something new

Install on Desktop (Chrome / Edge)

  1. Open curyloop.com and sign in
  2. Look for the install icon (⊕) in the address bar, or open the browser menu (⋮)
  3. Click "Install Curyloop" or "Install app"
  4. Curyloop opens in its own window - pin it to your taskbar or dock

Tip: On macOS, you can drag the app icon to your Dock for quick access.

Install on Android (Chrome)

  1. Open curyloop.com in Chrome
  2. Tap the browser menu (⋮) at the top-right
  3. Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
  4. Confirm by tapping Install
  5. Find the Curyloop icon on your home screen

Install on iOS (Safari)

  1. Open curyloop.com in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button (□↑) at the bottom of the screen
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
  4. Tap Add in the top-right corner
  5. Open Curyloop from your home screen - it runs in full-screen mode

Note: On iOS, PWAs must be installed through Safari. Other browsers like Chrome on iOS don't support PWA installation.

Install on Desktop (Firefox)

Firefox doesn't natively support PWA installation on desktop. We recommend using Chrome or Edge for the best desktop PWA experience, or you can use Curyloop directly in your browser.

Updating the PWA

The PWA updates automatically in the background. When a new version is available, simply close and reopen the app to get the latest features.

Removing the PWA

  • Desktop (Chrome/Edge): Open the app → click the three-dot menu in the title bar → Uninstall
  • Android: Long-press the Curyloop icon → Uninstall or Remove
  • iOS: Long-press the icon → Remove AppDelete
